TMGHI: The Middle Ground Housing Initiative
The Middle Ground Housing Initiative (TMGHI) addresses a critical gap in support services for Indiana adults aged 26–40. This demographic often falls outside traditional assistance programs while facing significant barriers to housing stability, mental health care, educational advancement, and workforce development.
Advocacy for Indiana's Overlooked Population
Nationally, fewer than one in ten non-elderly adults without children who qualify for rental assistance actually receive it—highlighting a widespread structural gap in housing support for adults outside traditional program eligibility.
COIL Solutions leads TMGHI advocacy efforts to ensure equitable access to comprehensive support systems. We work with policymakers, community organizations, and service providers to build infrastructure that serves this vulnerable population with dignity and effectiveness.
